The students of Class V visited the National Science Centre on Saturday, the 29 th April, 2023 along with
their Science teachers. It is one of the largest science centers in Asia and is spread across four sprawling
floors with eight galleries and several other sections for all age groups showing the wonders of science and
technology.
The students were given a tour of its different galleries which was a great learning experience for them.
They visited the Information Revolution Gallery, the Human Biology Gallery, the Sardar Patel Gallery, Pre-
Historic Gallery and the Hall of Nuclear Power.
The students also enjoyed different educational shows and movies. The Holographic Movie explained the
different systems of our body while the Blue Planet- Science on Sphere Show showcased planetary and
mystical galaxies and the universe which enthralled the students. The session in the science activity room
was enjoyed the most by the students as many activities were based on simple logic and principles which
were demonstrated and explained.
The educational trip was an enriching and exciting experience for the students of Class V. It helped them to
explore, gain hands-on-knowledge and experience the many dimensions of science and the impact it has on
our lives.
The students had a special assembly in which they shared their experience and knowledge they had acquired
during the visit and demonstrated some science facts they had learnt at the 3D show they attended.
