INVESTITURE CEREMONY OF THE SENIOR SCHOOL STUDENT COUNCIL 2024-2025
The Senior School Student Council assumed office at an impressive Investiture Ceremony held on 17 th May 2024.The Ceremony marked the induction of the new Student Council for the year 2024- 25.The event was attended by parents and teachers.
The ceremony commenced with a short assembly followed by the investiture of the Head Boy, Ritul R Kumar, and the Head Girl, Devna Gopakumar. The Head Boy and Head Girl received their badges and sashes from the Principal, Ms Esther Mani and took their oath of office.
The Captain of School Assemblies, Marianna Francis, Captain of Cultural Activities, Nipun Kalia, and Captain of School Discipline, Celine Susan Varghese were sworn in by the Vice Principal, Dr. Pratima Margaret Lall who also conferred on them their symbol of authority, the badges and the sashes.
Sports Captains Vishakha Chandran and S Keerthish, and Vice-Captain Mebin Mathews promised to ensure fairness in all sports events and received their badges and sashes from Ms Poonam Choudhary, PGT, Physical Education.
Akbar House Captain, Ananya Gaur and Vice-Captain, Ansh Chouhan took the oath of office, upholding the motto of their House “Tolerance is Divine”. Ms Chitrali Singh, the House In-charge conferred the badges and sashes and administered the oath to them.
Ashoka House Captain, Tanishtha Gogia, and Vice-Captain, Aarna Dhamija promised to uphold the motto of their House,” Peace is Eternal”. They took the oath of office and were conferred their badges and sashes by Ms. Vinita Peter, their House In-charge.
Gandhi House Captain Aditya Sharma and Vice-Captain Parinita Dadwal took the oath to hold high the motto of their House, “Truth always Triumphs”. Mr. Priyank Kumar Singhal, the House In-charge conferred the badges and sashes and administered the oath to them.
Tagore House Captain, Anjali Singh, and Vice-Captain, Ishita Arora pledged to uphold the motto of their House, “Knowledge is Power”. Ms. Suman Chopra, the House In-charge, conferred the badges and sashes and administered the oath to them.
The Student Council Body was sworn in by the Head Girl, Devna Gopakumar. Ms Rita Nakra, Ms Annapurni Balaji, Ms Anu Singh, Ms Aisha Hasan, Ms Poonam Choudhary and Mr Manish Simon conferred the badges and sashes to the newly inducted Student Council.
The Head Boy and The Head Girl in their individual addresses to the gathering emphasised that unity and cooperation are key to achieving great heights and urged the Student Council to step out of their comfort zones and embrace change as an essential part of life, encouraging them to become better versions of themselves.
The Principal, Ms. Esther Mani congratulated the members of the Student Council, encouraging them to be role models and to fulfil their duties with sincerity. She urged each student to find the light within themselves.
The ceremony concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY OF THE SENIOR SCHOOL STUDENT COUNCIL 2023-2024
The Investiture Ceremony of the Student Council for the year 2023-2024 was held on 11 May 2023 in the school hall. The occasion was attended by the Principal, Ms. Esther Mani, the Vice Principal, Dr Pratima Margaret Lall, teachers and students of Class XII. The programme was also live streamed for parents of the students to attend online.
The ceremony began with a short assembly followed by the investiture of the Head Boy, Vikram Khanna and Head Girl, Pranavi Jayanth. The Head Boy and Head Girl received their badges and sashes from the Principal and took their oath of office.
The Captain of School Assemblies, Aditya Menon, Captain of Cultural Activities, Karen Ann Ninan and Captain of School Discipline, Kezia M Hauzel were sworn in by the Vice Principal, who also conferred on them their symbols of authority, the badge and the sash.
Sports Captain, Atul Raj and Vice-Captain, Juliet Treesa Jose received their badges from Ms. Poonam Choudhary, PGT, Physical Education.
House Captains and Vice Captains of the four Houses were also inducted into the Student Council by their respective Teacher Coordinators. The Student Council Body of 39 members was sworn in by the Head Boy.
The Head Boy and the Head Girl, in their individual addresses to the gathering, promised to fulfil their duties with utmost sincerity and encourage their fellow students to strive for excellence. They pledged to lead the Student Council with dedication and integrity.
The Principal, Ms Esther Mani urged the newly elected Student Council to be diligent and willing to go beyond what was expected of them. She encouraged them to lead by example.
The ceremony concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY OF THE JUNIOR STUDENT COUNCIL(2024-25)
The Investiture Ceremony of the Junior Student Council for the year 2024-2025 was held on 10 May 2024 in the school hall. The occasion was attended by the Principal, Ms Esther Mani, the Primary Coordinator, Ms Sulochna Cardoza, teachers and parents of the council members.
Ms Sulochna Cardoza, the Primary Coordinator, in her welcome address, acknowledged the support and encouragement of parents in nurturing the young leaders. The Principal Ms Esther Mani lit the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the journey of enlightenment and knowledge.
The programme began with the investiture of the Head Boy, Tejas Singh Kushwah and Head Girl, Kayra Kunal Shah. They received their badges and sashes from the Principal and took their oath of office.
The Physical Training Instructors Ms Iram Irfan Qazi and Ms Arshiya Malik bestowed the symbols of authority, entrusting the Sports Captains, Rudra Sharma and Khyati Bhaskar with the duty to inspire teamwork, sportsmanship and excellence.
House Captains of the four Houses were also inducted into the Student Council by their respective Teacher Coordinators. The Student Council Body of 30 members was sworn in by the Discipline Coordinators, Ms Sapna Sharma, Mr. Ashish Samuel, Ms Priyanka David and Ms Deepshikha Singh.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY (JUNIORS) 2023-24
The Investiture Ceremony of the Junior Student Council for the year 2023-2024 was held on 12.05.2023. On this solemn occasion, the members of the Student Council pledged to work for the school with commitment and to the best of their abilities.
The Head Boy, Shubhang Jhunjhunwala and the Head Girl, Jessa Mariya Martin, in their address expressed their gratitude on being chosen for this responsibility of leadership and promised to be good role models to the student community.
The House Captains took the oath of office and received the symbols of authority, the badge, the sash and the flag from their respective Coordinators.
The ceremony concluded with an inspiring message from the Principal, Miss Esther Mani in which she emphasised the need for the council to lead by example and to develop skills of problem solving and team work.
